Credit Portfolio Manager (10-15 yrs)
Role Overview:
We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead to oversee credit portfolio management. This role is responsible for covenant monitoring, portfolio reporting, internal control adherence, and credit hygiene across structured corporate lending portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Governance:- Direct, mentor, and build a high-performing team. Drive workload allocation, manage operational priorities, serve as the escalation point for complex credit issues, and ensure seamless delivery.
Covenant Monitoring & Compliance:- Oversee the lifecycle tracking of financial and non-financial covenants. Ensure accurate assessment of non-compliance, direct approval routing for waivers or amendments, and supervise annual monitoring reports.
Portfolio Tracking & Reporting:- Oversee portfolio data integrity across internal systems, including facility updates, price tracking, credit balance reporting, and shareholder/obligor structure tagging. Maintain audit-ready documentation.
Process Improvement & Controls:- Identify operational bottlenecks and control gaps. Lead initiatives to streamline credit workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and promote a strong risk-aware culture.
Required Qualifications:Experience:- 8-10 years of experience in credit risk management, corporate lending, or project finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership/people management role.
Education:- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
Technical Skills:- Deep expertise in financial covenants, credit approval processes, corporate lending structures, loan documentation, syndicated loan arrangements, and post-closing credit controls.
