Job Title: Team Lead, Credit Audit (SME / Working Capital)

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Day Shift

Experience: 12-15 Years

Job Purpose:

To lead independent credit audits across Retail, SME, and Working Capital portfolios, evaluate credit processes, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, identify risks, and strengthen governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Execution

- Conduct end-to-end audits covering sourcing, appraisal, approval, disbursement, monitoring, and collections.

- Review loan files, documentation, collateral, underwriting quality, and policy adherence.

- Perform sample testing to assess process effectiveness and control standards.

Risk & Control Review

- Identify control gaps, operational risks, and non-compliance issues.

- Evaluate portfolio trends, delinquency indicators, and emerging risks.

Reporting & Governance

- Prepare audit reports with findings, root causes, and recommendations.

- Present observations to senior management and track timely closures.

- Support process enhancement and policy improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Operations, Collections, and Business teams.

- Drive discussions with senior stakeholders on corrective actions.

Key Requirements:

- Strong experience in Credit Audit, SME / Working Capital lending, and Retail portfolios.

- Sound knowledge of RBI guidelines, risk frameworks, and audit methodology.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification:

CA / MBA (Finance) / CIA preferred.
