- We are hiring for one of the leading conglomerates of India headquartered in Mumbai and operating in 21 lines of businesses. - The CSBD team acts as internal consultant to Businesses and works closely with Business Heads/CXOS and the Chairman's office. This role will be required to work as an advisor to various consumer facing businesses on various strategic initiatives and also provide an outside in look of the business. - This role is expected to act as an internal consultant to the various consumer facing businesses. The incumbent will be expected to - Keep abreast of the developments in these sectors - Identify specific initiatives to improve business performance - Assist in creating alliances/JVs or acquire assets/companies/brands in line with business growth plans - Benchmark with competition - Lead the Long Range Strategic Planning exercise - Work on specific initiatives that the Chairman mandates CSBD to work on - Work on consumer research/market research initiatives with Consumer Insights team ( as required) - Identify digital initiatives, enable businesses to accept them & help implement them - Leverage the vast amounts of data that is collected at the group level from consumer facing businesses, to identify potential new business opportunities or increase wallet share. - Engaging and developing excellent relationships with external stakeholders like - Investment Bankers - Consultants - Industry bodies - The Role will require the incumbent to work closely with other Corporate Functions of the Group and also work closely with the respective business teams. - The incumbent will be expected to build her/his brand equity with the Business Heads/ Directors/ CXOs and become their trusted advisor for specific initiatives
