Key Responsibilities:
Communication Campaigns
- Develop and implement end-to-end communication strategies for specific grants and social impact initiatives.
- Drive narrative change through mainstream media engagement, events, and strategic communication activities.
- Plan and manage social media campaigns and content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and other platforms.
- Create high-impact communication materials such as newsletters, blogs, videos, impact stories, and press releases.
Business & Digital Communication:
- Manage and optimize the day-to-day online presence for grant programs (websites and social media handles).
- Ensure consistency in messaging, brand tone, and visual identity across all communication channels.
- Track and report on digital engagement metrics to inform communication strategies.
Partnerships Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard relevant partners such as NGOs, media organizations, influencers, and creative agencies.
- Manage ongoing partner relationships to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate joint campaigns, events, and initiatives to maximize impact and visibility.
Knowledge Management:
- Develop high-quality knowledge productscase studies, toolkits, impact reports, good practice documents, decks, and briefs.
- Ensure timely documentation of lessons learned, field insights, and success stories.
- Coordinate with internal teams, field partners, and consultants for content gathering and validation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience in social media management, media engagement, and content strategy.
- Proven ability to manage partners and multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to translate field insights into compelling knowledge products.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of development sector narratives.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields.
- 48 years of experience in communications within the social impact/development sector, consulting firms, NGOs, or donor-funded projects.
