Job Title: Team Lead - Business Development

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 4-5 Years

Qualification: MBA (Marketing / Sales / Business preferred)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead Business Development to drive revenue growth and lead a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business strategies, managing key client relationships, and mentoring the business development team to achieve organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets

- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion

- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders

- Monitor team performance, analyze sales metrics, and prepare regular reports for management

- Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews to improve team productivity

- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention

- Handle escalations, negotiations, and closure of high-value deals

- Ensure adherence to company sales processes, CRM usage, and compliance standards

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Proven experience in Business Development or Sales with at least 12 years in a team leadership role

- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills

- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities

- Data-driven mindset with experience in sales forecasting and reporting

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA from a recognized institute

- Experience in B2B / B2C sales (industry-specific experience is a plus)

- Prior exposure to handling enterprise or key accounts
