- Concurrent Review and Query Manager (CDI)Position SummaryWe are seeking a high-performing Concurrent Review and Query Manager to assume a pivotal management role within our Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) department.

- This leader will guide day-to-day operations, set high performance standards for the Concurrent Review and Query team, and drive strategic initiatives focused on documentation quality, compliance, and revenue cycle optimization.

- Operational Management & Team LeadershipTeam Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the CDI Concurrent Review and Query team, ensuring consistent performance of all CDI functions.

- Performance Standards: Guide the department toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering quality services aligned with strategic goals.

- Resource Management: Demonstrate strong organizational skills to proactively prioritize team needs and effectively manage resources (staffing, tools, and time).

- Talent Development: Foster a team-building environment and provide meaningful coaching and mentoring to increase the capabilities of individuals and teams.

- Strategy, Analysis, & OptimizationData Analysis: Analyze and monitor focused review findings, identify systemic problem areas, develop effective strategies, and recommend action plans for resolution.

- Strategic Relationships & CommunicationStakeholder Collaboration: Develop and strengthen collaborative relationships across Division, Parallon, and Corporate leaders to advance patient care and organizational goals.

- Impactful Communication: Deliver information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, adjusting messages appropriately by audience to drive targeted and actionable communications.

- Leadership Presence: Demonstrate a willingness and ability to lead others and actively encourage cross-team collaboration to enhance operational efficiencies.

- Required Qualifications & ExpertiseKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesClinical/Coding Acumen: Consistent, demonstrable proficiency in all current CDI functions (concurrent review, query writing, clinical validation).

- Technology Proficiency: Excellent personal computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Office, Excel (for data analysis), and expertise with relevant healthcare software (EMR, 3M, Iodine, and other related CDI systems).

- Professional Conduct: Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and assertively.

- Problem Resolution: Ability to independently take proactive steps toward problem resolution.

- Integrity: Ability to build trust and act with authenticity to cultivate a culture of integrity and mutual respect.

- Education and Experience (Preferred)Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Health Information Management (HIM), or related clinical/management field.

- Master's degree (MHA or MBA) preferred.

Experience: Proven track record of consistent performance of all CDI functions, with prior experience in a management or leadership capacity
