We are looking to hire Taxation Manager for Delhi location The ideal candidate should have strong understanding in Tax compliance and GAAP Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting. - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize overall tax positions. - Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns and supporting documentation. - Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on tax planning opportunities. - Monitor regulatory updates and changes in tax legislation. - Assist in audits with government agencies and internal stakeholders. - Collaborate with external tax advisors and consultants. - Prepare and review tax provisions in financial statements. - Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies. - Train and supervise tax staff to improve skills and knowledge. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for tax positions taken. - Provide strategic tax advice for new initiatives and business transactions. - Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations. - Participate in budgeting and forecasting to incorporate tax impacts. - Assess the tax impact of business decisions and transactions. Required Qualifications: - Qualified CA - Master's degree in Taxation or Business Administration preferred. - Professional certification such as CPA or EA is highly desirable. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation or tax consulting. - In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws. - Experience with tax compliance, planning and reporting. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. - Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team. - Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Experience with financial accounting standards and practices. - Knowledge of international taxation is a plus. - Ability to effectively communicate complex tax matters to non-tax professionals. - Demonstrated ability to identify and address potential tax issues proactively.
