We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Mumbai.

We're seeking a confident and proactive individual who can effectively manage various tax and accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:
- GST Compliance & Filings: Overseeing and ensuring accurate and timely Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including preparing and filing GST returns, reconciliations, and addressing any related queries or assessments.
- Finalization of Accounts: Leading the finalization of financial accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Receivables & Payables Management: Efficiently managing and overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including reconciliation, follow-up, and ensuring timely processing.
- Accounting Standard Expertise: Applying in-depth knowledge of IND-AS (Indian Accounting Standards) or ICAI's I-GAAP (Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to all financial reporting and accounting practices.
- Regulatory Adherence: Staying updated with the latest tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards relevant to the financial services industry and ensuring full compliance.
- Audit Support: Collaborating with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audits.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to existing tax and accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a tax and accounting role within the stockbroking or financial services industry is essential.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST compliance and filing procedures.
- Demonstrable experience in finalizing accounts.
- Solid understanding and experience with receivables and payables management.
- In-depth knowledge of either IND-AS or ICAI's I-GAAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
