Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Zonal Sales Manager - Commercial Business to lead and drive our commercial lines portfolio in Rajasthan. This role is responsible for managing top-line growth, profitability, underwriting oversight, and sales strategy across multiple distribution channels, with a focus on large SME and mid-market clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales growth and profitability for the Commercial Lines Business across Rajasthan.

- Manage P&L accountability for the zone, ensuring achievement of revenue and margin objectives.

- Support and develop all sales channels, including brokers and corporate distribution partners.

- Oversee underwriting and broking sales operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines.

- Build and strengthen relationships with key distribution partners and large SME/mid-market clients.

- Lead strategic initiatives for market penetration, portfolio expansion, and customer retention.

- Provide insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to influence product and process development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (claims, operations, product, and risk) to deliver seamless customer experiences.

- Mentor and develop the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

- 7-10 years of experience in sales and distribution within the general insurance industry, with a strong focus on commercial lines.

- Proven track record in driving top-line growth and managing P&L for large business units.

- Deep understanding of commercial lines products, processes, and underwriting principles.

- Established market reputation and relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and large SME/mid-market clients.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
