Key Responsibilities

- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute regional recovery strategies to achieve collection targets and minimize bad debt.

- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, train, and manage a team of recovery professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies and ethical guidelines.

- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day recovery operations, including allocation of cases, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory frameworks.

- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recovery, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, Legal) to streamline recovery processes and resolve complex cases.

- Customer Relationship Management: Ensure a customer-centric approach to recovery, maintaining positive relationships while effectively pursuing outstanding payments.

- Reporting & Insights: Prepare regular reports on regional recovery performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve recovery efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Must Have:

- 8-12 years of experience in collections, debt recovery, or credit management, with significant experience in a leadership or managerial role.

- Proven track record of successfully achieving and exceeding recovery targets.

- Strong understanding of collection laws, regulations, and ethical practices in India.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively.
