Job Title: Head - Network Product Development & Project Management

Organizational Context:
The Head - Network Product Development & Project Management plays a pivotal role in evangelizing, strategizing, designing and development of new network products & projects management par excellence to make the organization future ready with such Products that are required for growth in newer areas/ avenues for the organization.
This role ensures scouting for newer areas/ sectors/ products. This role will be instrumental in bridging strategy, engineering, and operations, ensuring delivery of high-impact CAPEX/OPEX including Tech Refresh, Augmentation, Upgrades and/or other initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Job Purpose / Role Summary:
The role is accountable for driving new network product initiatives & project managing their delivery in alignment with business. The incumbent will develop & implement project plans & project rollout fostering newer areas evangelization that drives business. The incumbent will partner with internal teams (NOC / Field / Engineering / Operations / Customer success/ SCM) and external OEMs to ensure proper project execution thus aligning with the organization's Goal & Objectives to drive project deliverable.
Key Stakeholders:
Business Product Teams, Network Strategy, Network Field Operations, Service assurance, Customer Success, Finance, Procurement, SCM teams
People Leadership:
Will mange a Project Management team along with its team members.
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Network Product Development:
- Customer Life Cycle Management with Business Product team
- Lead enterprise OEM/ vendor engagement strategy
- Drive co-creation of future-ready products and solutions aligned to network evolution
- Develop scalable process frameworks and product architecture
- Align product roadmap with long-term business and technology strategy
2. Cross-functional Stakeholder Management
Orchestrate collaboration across key organizational units:
- Customer Service Group
- NOC (Network Operations Center)
- Field Operations
- Service Delivery
3. Program & Project Management
- Act as a single point of accountability for program delivery
- Lead end-to-end execution of Technology Refresh and Network Efficiency programs
- Drive large-scale transformation initiatives across Fiber and Network infrastructure
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and defined project milestones
4. Performance & KPI Delivery
Own delivery of KPIs for high-value CAPEX/ OPEX programs:
- Cost optimization targets
- Turnaround Time (TAT)
- Quality benchmarks
- Realization of intended business benefits
- Establish governance frameworks and dashboards for tracking
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead high-performing teams with a strong ownership mindset
- Foster a culture of:

6. Strategic Thinking & Decision Making
- Drive data-backed decision-making for network optimization and investments

Central Network Contract management with Authorized signatory to Central / Local agencies
- ITES - certificate and renewal

Ideal Profile
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Telecom preferred)
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA / MS) from a reputed institute
- Certifications like PMP/ CAPMI with knowledge of Agile Project management methodologies
Experience
- 20+ years of total experience in Telecom / Network / Fiber domain
- 5-8 project deliveries/ up to 10 years in new network product development, project execution for Technology refresh / Central Elements replacement (Transport, Data IP, Voice)
- Working knowledge of telecom material management basics
- Strong communication skills: presenter, analytical, influencer style
- Result-oriented, self-driven, collaborative team player
Proven track record in:
