Job Description : - To ensure all necessary action in human resource management functions to maintain harmonious industrial relations and meet the business objectives, strategies and challenges of the various business units including its supporting units of Global Wires India, CRC (West) and Steel Recycling Business. - Ensure atmosphere of performance excellence, by creating a culture of knowledge sharing and establishing standard of systems and procedures customised to business requirement. - - Ensure the well-being of all employees and deploy HRM processes in fair and transparent manner in line with the organization culture.- - Maintaining harmonious industrial relations with multiple recognised trade unions for example Shramik Utkarsh Sabha, Mumbai Labour Union. Management of Industrial Relations (IR) through continuous communication, promoting culture of participation and arriving at win-win settlements.\ - Standardisation of systems and procedures customised to business requirements. - Contract Labour Management through Contractors Cell. Explore possibility of insourcing / outsourcing based on business requirement. Ensure fair treatment. - Promote discipline and ethical culture. - Facilitate discussion on reorganisation / Work Practice, Annual Bonus and Wage revision of TWP # 1, TWP # 2 & SSP, WRM (West) and CRC (West) with different unions. - Maintaining harmonious industrial relations with all Mathadi Unions. Finalisation of wage revision of various Mathadi groups. Also, implementation of various rules and notifications issued by various Mathadi Boards from time to time. Monitor timely payment to various Mathadi Boards - Implementation of Talent Management and Talent Development as per the business requirement. - Manpower Planning with respect to OPR, Jr. Officers, Multiskilled Operators, Contractors' employees and Mathadi Workers as per changing requirement of business. - Recruitment of Jr. Officers as per guidelines. Recruitment of Multiskilled Operators as per Bipartite Agreements. - Monitor and control wage cost and other costs related to employees. - Canteen Management of TWP # 1, TWP # 2, SSP, WRM (West) and CRC (West). - Actively work towards promoting safe condition and safe behaviour. - Implementation of policies, guidelines, standards of the company. - Redressal of grievances. - Ensure Time Management System to ensure smooth payroll run. - Improve basic amenities of both own and contractors' employees. Improve delivery of service (including employee welfare & amenities) to various stakeholders to keep up their morale. - Facilitating improvement of employee connect. Ensure well-being and happiness of employees and plan for improving employee engagement. - Ensure legal compliances of business units GWI, CRC (West) & SRB. Ensure necessary action for impending legal cases at District Court & High Court. - Ensure timely renewal of licences & approvals under Factories Act, CLRA etc. - Provide guidance, clarifications and decisions to HRM Executives and Line Executives. - Competency development of HRM professionals in GWI, CRC (West) & SRB by training, mentoring and coaching. - Implementing HRM processes within the areas GWI, CRC (West) & SRB through TQM approach. Ensure uniformity in implementation of rules and procedures to further strengthen the ambience of fairness and trust. - Formulation of rules and procedures customised to different geographical locations and service partners. - Explore benchmarks in HRM Processes and implementing industry best practices. - Networking with other industries, professional bodies and appropriate agencies. - Continue to explore the possibilities to improve work practices by eliminating / modifying restrictive practices. - Participate in merger and acquisition process to facilitate the processes related to HRM.
