Role Overview:


As Manager Marketing Innovation (Organic India), you will be responsible for building and managing a long-term innovation pipeline, aligned with business goals, and contributing to the creation of a multi-category FMCG company.


You will drive product innovation, consumer-centric strategies, and market expansion to strengthen Organic Indias presence.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Outcomes:


- Identify opportunity areas for growth through geographic expansion, range extension, and new product launches.


- Follow the stage-gate innovation process, acting as business custodian throughout.


- Create and implement launch and sustenance plans for pilots.


- Own P&L, A&P, and 360 marketing plans for new launches.


- Deliver topline, bottom-line, and inventory/working capital objectives.


- Scale successful pilots and transition them to category teams.


- Analyze NPD (new product development) performance and recommend next steps (strengthen/scale/exit).


- Support cost control and waste minimization initiatives.


Customer Service & GTM:


- Develop and execute GTM strategies in collaboration with E-commerce, Modern Trade, and General Trade teams.


- Ensure smooth execution across regulatory, packaging, production, finance, and sales.


- Gather and act on post-launch feedback from retailers and consumers.


Internal Processes:


- Develop brand assets including packaging, logo, and brand book.


- Work with agencies and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.


- Use consumer trend data to identify innovation opportunities.


Innovation & Learning:


- Drive the Organic India innovation pipeline from ideation to execution.


- Build consumer understanding and develop products aligned with business strategy.


- Create engaging launch and communication plans for new products.


Critical Success Factors:


- 46 years of marketing experience.


- Minimum 23 years in innovation/brand/category marketing.


- MBA from a premier B-school.


Desirable Success Factors:


- Strong communication and stakeholder management.


- Exposure to sales is an advantage.


- Familiarity with FMCG industry challenges and opportunities.


- Knowledge of design thinking and consumer research tools.
