Position Objective :

Unit Business HR (BHR) is responsible for aligning HR practices with the unit's operational goals. This role encompasses strategic planning, effective execution of HR initiatives, people management, and administrative coordination. The BHR will ensure that HR goals are met in relation to cost management, productivity, recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and attrition management, contributing to the overall success of the plan unit.

Strategic:

- HR Cost Management: Monitor and control HR costs to align with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Ensure that HR expenditures are managed effectively, focusing on achieving budgetary targets.

- Referral and IJP Programs: Develop and implement effective referral programs (e.g., "Bring Your Buddy") and Internal Job Posting (IJP) processes. Set and achieve targets for position closures through referrals and IJPs.

- Compensation Grid Adherence: Ensure compliance with the established compensation grid for new hires and existing employees. Regularly review and update compensation practices to remain competitive and equitable

- Offer to Joining Ratio: Improve the offer-to-joining ratio by enhancing the candidate experience and streamlining the onboarding process.

People Related:

- R&R Framework: Develop and implement a unified Recognition and Rewards (R&R) framework across the plant/unit to enhance employee motivation and retention.

- Diversity and Inclusion: Increase the representation of women and diverse groups across levels and functions in the plant/unit. Launch inclusive surveys and promote an inclusive work environment.

- Critical Roles Framework: Identify and develop strategies for critical roles, including Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and retention frameworks to mitigate talent risks.

- Employee Engagement Survey: Roll out the Annual Employee Engagement Survey (Gallup) and act on feedback to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.

Execution/ Implementation:

- Recruitment TAT: Maintain recruitment turnaround time (TAT) to ensure 100% staffing as per AOP. Implement efficient recruitment processes to meet staffing requirements.

- Onboarding Digitization: Oversee the digitization of the onboarding journey through ATS and HRMS platforms. Implement and manage onboarding connects (15-30-90-180 days) and the SMILE induction day to enhance new joiner integration.

- New Joiner Experience: Enhance the new joiner experience by monitoring and improving experience scores. Ensure smooth onboarding and early engagement for new hires.

- LEAP Journey Implementation: Implement the LEAP journey for campus hires to facilitate their transition and integration into the organization.
