Brief about the Role

This role is responsible for managing the SAP FICO function with working exposure to SD and MM modules. The incumbent will own the overall SAP program, ensure smooth system operations, and act as a key interface between business stakeholders and AMS partners. The role also involves driving continuous improvements, system enhancements, and SAP best practices across finance and integrated modules.

What will you do

- Own and manage the end-to-end SAP FICO program, ensuring stable and efficient operations across modules

- Lead SAP FICO configurations, enhancements, issue resolution, and oversee SD & MM integration touchpoints

- Coordinate with AMS consultants for incident management, change requests, upgrades, and ongoing improvements

- Act as the primary liaison between business users, functional teams, and AMS/vendor partners

- Lead and deliver 2-3 AMS projects end-to-end, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements

- Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training material; conduct user training sessions as required

- Drive automation, process optimization, and adoption of SAP best practices

- Actively participate in and support SAP S/4HANA initiatives and enhancements

What we are looking for:

Chartered Accountant (CA) - preferred

- 5-7 years of relevant SAP experience, primarily in FICO, with good working knowledge of SD and MM

- Proven experience of successfully leading at least 2-3 AMS (Application Management Services) projects

- Strong understanding of integration between FICO, SD, and MM modules

- Experience in vendor management and stakeholder coordination

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA will be a strong advantage

- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and clear communication

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and manage multiple priorities
