Brief about the Role

This role is about managing R2R function. He/She will ensure all financial transactions are recorded timely and accurately. He/She will be responsible for timely book closure and getting them audited. Ensure adequate internal controls & processes are in place to safeguard company assets. He/ She will work closely with other functions and help them in giving meaningful financial insight. Driving SAP s4 Hana implementation and automation projects.

What will you do:

- Oversee R2R function i.e all financial accounting, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Ensure underlying accounting records are prepared in accordance with IndAs and IGAAP

- Prepare monthly standalone financials and consolidated financial statements. Ensure accuracy, and completeness in financial statements. Variances analysis between actuals over last month/qtr/year

- Working closely with Statutory Auditors (big 4) and ensuring timely completion of Audited financials without any qualification. Ensure adequate controls are in place, SOP/RACM/ policies are law-compliant and business-focused

- Working closely with Cost Auditors and ensuring timely completion of Cost Audit report

- Working and fixing gaps identified by Stat Auditors/ Internal Auditors

- Monitoring & control related party transactions including the ALP assessment

- Year-end and month-end reporting, (reporting in line with the group timelines)

- Work closely with FP&A team to accurately report the numbers to the management

- Timely completion of inter-company reconciliations

- Preparation of various data required by Company Secretary for statutory fillings with RBI and ROC

- Work towards automation, standardize and simplify financial activities

- Active participation in SAP S 4 HANA implementation

- Lead SAP S 4 HANA implementation

What we are looking for:

- Seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a preference for passing the exam on the first attempt, demonstrating a consistent and impressive academic and professional background

- Possess 6- 8 years of valuable work experience

- Proven experience in engaging with auditors from leading firms such as the Big-4

- Extensive exposure to various software systems and hands-on involvement in SAP S4 Hana implementation

- Previous roles in both large, established professional organizations and start-ups are a definite advantage

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities, comprehensive accounting knowledge, effective leadership, and communication skills, and proficiency in using financial software

- Soft skills like meticulous attention to detail, organizational proficiency, adept problem-solving abilities, and efficient time management are highly valued

- Must thrive in high-pressure environments, consistently meet committed deadlines, and be adaptable to a high-performance start-up culture

- Possess a high level of energy and be a self-starter

- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 4-5 members
