Brief About the Team:

The Logistics Asset Team within the Supply Chain function at Tata 1mg owns end-to-end logistics strategy and operations across intra-city (Quick Commerce and scheduled deliveries) and inter-city (courier-led) networks. The team is responsible for service reliability, cost efficiency, partner performance, and scalability across India, working closely with central supply chain, product, tech, category, and customer experience teams.

What will you do:

- Own service levels, cost, and reliability across all logistics movements including Quick Commerce, intra-city (same-day / next-day), and inter-city courier deliveries.

- Lead last-mile delivery operations across in-house and third-party rider fleets, ensuring strong SLA adherence and execution discipline.

- Own performance management of inter-city courier and 3PL partners; drive breach reduction and customer impact mitigation.

- Drive logistics cost optimisation, annual planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement of unit economics.

- Lead and develop senior managers, program managers, and operations teams across regions.

- Build scalable SOPs, governance models, and operating rhythms across inter and intra-city operations.

- Partner closely with product, tech, analytics, and control tower teams to improve visibility and reduce manual firefighting.

- Collaborate with supply chain, category, CX, and planning teams to align logistics execution with business priorities.

What are we looking for:

- 6-12+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or last-mile operations.

- Proven experience managing both intra-city last-mile operations and inter-city courier / 3PL networks.

- Strong understanding of service metrics, unit economics, and partner governance.

- Experience leading large, multi-layered teams across geographies.

- Highly data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Prior experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, or healthcare logistics preferred.

- MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
