Brief About the Team

The Logistics Asset Team within the Supply Chain function at Tata 1mg owns end-to-end logistics strategy and operations across intra-city (Quick Commerce and scheduled deliveries) and inter-city (courier-led) networks. The team is responsible for service reliability, cost efficiency, partner performance, and scalability across India, working closely with central supply chain, product, tech, category, and customer experience teams.

What will you do:

- Develop and execute high-impact operational strategies to drive efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Provide strategic leadership in managing large-scale supply chain and diagnostic operations, ensuring best-in-class performance.

- Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with company goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and sustained business growth.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with long-term strategic objectives and expansion plans.

- Work cross-functionally with sales, finance, and technology teams to integrate supply chain strategies with business needs.

- Manage risks related to supply chain disruptions, demand fluctuations, and vendor reliability to ensure operational continuity.

- Lead budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning to optimize operational investments.

- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and strategic partners

What are we looking for:

- B.Tech + MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum of 12+ years of experience in supply chain and operations, preferably in e-commerce or high-growth environments.

- Proven track record in leading large-scale operations and supply chain teams with a strong focus on performance and efficiency.

- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

- Strong expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).

- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
