Job Summary:

- Looking for a seasoned Delivery Manager with 18+ years of experience in the IT services industry to lead the successful delivery of complex software engagements for global clients.

- The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java technologies, experience managing large, distributed teams (50+ FTEs) with the support of 3-4 PMs.

- And a proven ability to manage multi projects portfolios while ensuring client satisfaction, operational excellence, and business value realization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade software development and enhancement projects, ensuring on-time, quality, and cost-effective outcomes.

- Serve as the primary delivery contact for clients, internal leadership, and cross-functional teams, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.

- Drive offshore delivery governance, ensuring adherence to success metrics, KPIs, compliance, and security standards.

- Lead and mentor multi-location teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to define project scope, technical architecture, and execution strategy.

- Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies for scalable and responsive execution.

- Monitor and mitigate delivery risks, escalate as appropriate, and implement preventive and corrective actions.

- Drive operational efficiency through capacity planning, resource optimization, automation, and standardization.

- Ensure customer success and satisfaction by aligning delivery with evolving business priorities and value expectations.

- Manage budget, billing, and forecasting in partnership with finance and account teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 18+ years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 2 years in a Delivery Manager or Program Manager role.

- Strong technical background in Java technologies and familiarity with modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Demonstrated experience managing large delivery teams (50+ members) in distributed, global delivery models.

- Solid grasp of Agile, Scrum, Kanban practices with a track record of leading Agile Teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with CXOs and senior leadership of global clients.

- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), quality assurance, and release management processes.

- Experience managing complex engagements involving application development, enhancement, and modernization.

- Superior leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and delivery metrics across multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering

- PMP, SAFe or Agile certification.

- Prior experience in client-facing roles for Tier-1 IT services companies.

- Experience in presales or solutioning support will be a plus.
