
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager with deep domain expertise in automotive dealership systems, particularly Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as CDK Global, Tekion, and Reynolds and Reynolds. This role will drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution across Fixed Operations, including Parts, Repair Orders, Appointments, and Dynamic Parts Pricing.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of product leadership, dealership operations knowledge, and experience building scalable, user-centric solutions for service and parts workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Identify market opportunities, customer pain points, and competitive gaps across service and parts domains
- Partner with executive leadership to align product initiatives with business goals and revenue targets
Domain Ownership - Fixed Operations
- Repair Orders (RO): End-to-end lifecycle, job creation, labor operations, billing, and invoicing
- Appointments: Scheduling optimization, capacity planning, advisor workflows, and customer experience
- Parts Management: Inventory, procurement, cataloging, fulfillment, and integration with service workflows
- Dynamic Parts Pricing: Pricing strategies based on demand, availability, margins, and competitive benchmarks
Customer & Market Insights
- Engage with dealership stakeholders (service advisors, parts managers, technicians, GMs) to gather insights
- Translate real-world dealership workflows into scalable product features
- Conduct competitive analysis across platforms like CDK, Tekion, and Reynolds
Execution & Delivery
- Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Lead agile product development cycles and ensure timely delivery
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Support go-to-market strategy, product launches, and customer onboarding
- Act as the voice of the customer internally
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience working with DMS platforms such as CDK, Tekion, Reynolds, or similar
- Deep expertise in Fixed Operations (Service + Parts) workflows
- Proven experience owning complex, enterprise-grade products
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and service lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to pricing algorithms or dynamic pricing models
- Familiarity with integrations (OEM systems, parts catalogs, service tools)
- MBA or equivalent business/technical education
