Role Overview:

- Talink is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead and scale its engineering capability in India while supporting global technology delivery.

- This is a strategic leadership role with hands-on influence, responsible for building high-performing engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and shaping the future of Talink's software delivery capabilities.

- The role requires balancing technology vision, people leadership, and delivery outcomes while collaborating closely with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Leadership & Strategy:

- Define and evolve Talink's engineering vision, frameworks, and technical standards across diverse technology stacks.

- Drive engineering excellence through best practices in architecture, development, security, and performance.

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve delivery and innovation.

Team Development & Culture:

- Lead, coach, and mentor Technical Leads and senior engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization aligned with Talink's growth strategy.

- Support engineering workforce planning, recruitment, and capability development.

Technical Governance & Delivery:

- Oversee the technical quality and governance of project delivery, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges and architectural decisions.

- Ensure adherence to modern engineering practices, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Partner with Delivery, Product, Platform, and QA leaders to ensure seamless collaboration across functions.

- Work closely with global teams and clients to align engineering efforts with business outcomes.

- Support strategic technology initiatives across Talink's global operations.

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 4+ years in leadership roles.

- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

- Strong expertise in modern software development practices, cloud-native architectures, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep understanding of Agile and Lean delivery methodologies, particularly in multi-client or consultancy environments.

- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor, inspire, and develop technical talent.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with distributed global engineering teams.

- Exposure to technology consulting or services-based delivery models.

- Ability to influence technical strategy across multiple products or client engagements.
