About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive high-impact hiring initiatives across the Semiconductor, Automotive, IoT, Embedded Systems, and Smart Device engineering domains. This is a strategic, fast-paced, and stakeholder-intensive role that requires deep understanding of complex technical skill sets and the ability to manage end-to-end hiring cycles for niche engineering talent.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in domestic technical recruitment, exceptional stakeholder management, and the capability to build high-quality talent pipelines for critical engineering positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Hiring & Delivery Management
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for specialized engineering roles including Embedded Systems, Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS), Firmware Development, Automotive ECU/Diagnostics, Device Drivers, and IoT Engineering.
- Engage with delivery managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning, hiring forecasts, project priorities, and capability requirements.
- Translate technical job descriptions into effective sourcing strategies aligned with business timelines and talent availability in the domestic market.
Talent Sourcing & Market Intelligence
- Develop multi-channel sourcing strategies using Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, internal databases, and targeted networking.
- Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines across semiconductor, automotive, and IoT domains.
- Conduct technical screening to evaluate skill relevance, domain exposure, project complexity, and suitability for specific roles.
- Provide insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, competitor hiring patterns, and emerging niche skills within the engineering ecosystem.
Stakeholder Management & Candidate Experience
- Partner closely with hiring managers, technical interview panels, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on recruitment priorities.
- Manage interview logistics, selection processes, and candidate progression with high accuracy and speed.
- Ensure a premium candidate experience by maintaining consistent engagement, effectively managing objections, and minimizing drop-offs.
- Collaborate with HR operations to ensure seamless offer rollout and onboarding coordination.
Reporting & Process Excellence
- Publish structured daily/weekly hiring dashboards, pipeline progress reports, and SLA adherence metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal recruitment standards, documentation practices, and ATS workflows.
- Continuously optimize sourcing processes, evaluation methods, and conversion strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-8 years of experience as a Domestic Technical Recruiter with strong exposure to engineering and R&D hiring.
- Proven experience hiring for Embedded, Connectivity, Firmware, Semiconductor, Automotive, and IoT technologies.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts such as C/C++, RTOS, Linux kernel, BSP, BLE/Wi-Fi stacks, embedded protocols, ECU systems, and system-level software.
- Expertise in sourcing platforms: Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS systems, and specialized talent networks.
- Strong negotiation skills, communication capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive hiring targets within fast-paced project delivery environments.
