Description:
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage recruitment for our skilled blue-collar). This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet dynamic staffing needs, ensuring a steady pipeline of reliable talent for our frontline teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Partner with operations managers to understand staffing requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies for roles like welders, technicians, drivers, warehouse staff, etc.
- Sourcing: Utilize diverse methods including job boards (Indeed, local sites), social media, community events, trade schools, print media, and employee referrals to find candidates.
- Candidate Management: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: screening resumes, conducting phone/video interviews, coordinating site visits/tests, extending offers, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Hiring Drives: Organize and execute high-volume hiring events, open houses, and community outreach programs.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company's reputation as an employer of choice within blue-collar communities.
- ATS & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and report on key metrics like time-to-hire and source effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably with blue-collar, industrial, or high-volume hiring.
- Strong sourcing skills using various channels beyond just LinkedIn.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requisitions.
- Familiarity with recruitment software/ATS.
