About the Role:
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant - Non-Technology to manage end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of business and corporate functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in non-technical recruitment, excellent sourcing capabilities, and the ability to independently manage multiple hiring mandates from requirement understanding through offer closure and joining.
You will work closely with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand hiring requirements, build effective talent pipelines, identify high-quality candidates, and ensure timely closures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Non-Technology Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end hiring for entry to mid-level non-technical positions across:
1. Sales & Business Development
2. Marketing & Digital Marketing
3. Operations & Supply Chain
4. Finance & Accounting
5. HR & Administration
6. Customer Success & Customer Support
7. Business Operations and other corporate functions
- Understand job requirements, competencies, experience, and behavioral expectations.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies based on role complexity, seniority, location, and talent availability.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, databases, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct initial screening and competency-based interviews to assess candidate suitability.
2. End-to-End Recruitment:
- Own the complete recruitment lifecycle from job intake to candidate joining.
- Manage sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, feedback follow-ups, salary discussions, offer coordination, and joining management.
- Maintain strong candidate pipelines for recurring and high-volume requirements.
- Proactively identify passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Ensure hiring targets and turnaround timelines are consistently achieved.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Work closely with hiring managers, HR teams, and business stakeholders to understand hiring priorities.
- Conduct effective requirement-intake discussions and clarify role expectations.
- Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, market availability, compensation trends, and hiring challenges.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner and provide practical talent-market insights.
- Manage expectations around candidate quality, availability, compensation, notice periods, and hiring timelines.
4. Candidate Management & Experience:
- Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure timely communication regarding interviews, feedback, offers, and joining formalities.
- Manage candidate expectations around compensation, role, location, career opportunity, and timelines.
- Minimize candidate drop-offs through proactive engagement and follow-up.
- Build a long-term talent network for future requirements.
5. Recruitment Operations & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the ATS/CRM.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics including:
1. Open positions
2. Profiles sourced/submitted
3. Screening and interview ratios
4. Interview-to-offer ratio
5. Offer-to-joining ratio
6. Time-to-hire
7. Closure and joining status
- Ensure recruitment processes and documentation are followed consistently.
- Support bulk hiring drives, recruitment campaigns, and employer-branding initiatives when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 - 6 years of experience in non-technology recruitment, staffing, recruitment consulting, or corporate Talent Acquisition.
- Strong experience hiring for Sales, Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Finance, HR, Customer Support, Customer Success, and other business functions.
- Hands-on experience with Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, databases, and passive sourcing.
- Strong candidate assessment and screening skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Good negotiation and candidate-closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously and work against tight hiring deadlines.
- Strong ownership, follow-through, and result orientation.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced recruitment environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Recruitment / HR certification is an advantage.
- Experience in staffing, recruitment consulting, RPO, or agency recruitment will be preferred.
- Experience handling multiple clients or business units will be an added advantage.
