The Opportunity:

Tachys Capital is a US-based real estate investment platform. Our sister company is an established private real estate debt fund focused on originating and managing private credit investments.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly driven professional to work directly with the Principal on investor relations, capital raising, and business development.

This is a relationship-driven role with direct exposure to LPs, consultants, institutional investors, RIAs, family offices, and other capital allocators, with a clear path toward increasing ownership of investor relationships over time.

The right candidate will also have the opportunity to develop meaningful knowledge of the investment side of the business, including investment strategy, underwriting, and portfolio management.

Must Have:

- Hands-on experience in fundraising and/or investor relations for an investment firm or fund.

- Has raised capital for and/or worked at a US-based investment firm, with experience working with investors in the US.

- Strong investor, business development, and relationship-building skills, with an existing referral or professional network.

- Comfortable owning a pipeline end-to-end, including prospecting, follow-up, investor diligence, and closing.

- Entrepreneurial, self-directed, persistent, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strongly Preferred:

- Experience with real estate private credit, direct lending, private equity, or other alternative investments.

- Experience with retail investors, RIAs, family offices, institutional investors, consultants, or fund allocators.

- Strong network across investors, consultants, family offices, or other capital sources.

- Experience developing investor coverage strategies and attending industry events.

- Experience working with US clients.

What Youll Do:

- Build and manage the investor and capital-raising pipeline from prospecting through close.

- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, RIAs, family offices, consultants, and other capital sources.

- Identify investor opportunities and communicate the firms investment strategies directly to prospects.

- Build and manage a referral network of wealth advisors, investment professionals, and other capital introducers.

- Manage investor diligence, DDQs, data rooms, onboarding, and investor communications.

- Maintain CRM and pipeline reporting.

- Work directly with the Principal on fundraising strategy and investor targeting.

- Develop increasing exposure to the firms investments, underwriting, and portfolio.
