Group Product Manager

Job Description : GPM (Preferably from Pedia / GP / Gynaecology Experience)

Location : Chennai

Experience : 5 -6 yrs

Top line & Bottom-line Achievement:

- To drive the growth of the Focused brand & Overall performance of the assigned set of brands

- Optimize Promo Spend for the desired ROI

Communication Campaign Activity:

- Prepare Brand wise communication/campaign/ activity

- Prepare Competition Knock out points to the field and keep them abreast of the current information & motivate them for better performance

- Periodic communication to the field on the Brand Achievement, Market trends, and Competition update

- Conduct Quarterly briefing meetings on brand communications

Interdepartmental coordination:

- Plan & dispatch of Inputs quarterly

- Co-ordination with purchase dept/ vendors for the delivery of inputs on agreed time, quality & quantity

New Product Launch (As & when Required):

- Identify potential areas of New Products launch in the assigned therapy through

- Analyse AWACS / SMSRC trends for market Potential for the identified new product

- Conduct Market Research & Take Doctor's feedback for the identified new product

- Presentation of the idea for clearance from senior leaders

- Co-ordination with the Packaging team for product feature finalization

- Prepare sales projection, sampling plan

- Prepare stock allocation and proper distribution in geographies through SCM

- Ensure regional meetings for the new product

Key Skills:

- Planning, execution, and post meeting follow-up for brand performance with the team

- Ability to plan multiple products communication & deliver results according to plan

- Ability to plan & execute specialized programs / Camps for Drs / Patients for better impact on marketing activities.

- Possess a fundamental knowledge of primary research methodologies and have the ability to interpret and apply research results to brand strategies and tactics

- Utilize metrics to measure the effectiveness of promotion and related execution

- Build key components of the brand sales field training and communication plan; assist in the development and implementation of Meetings

- Strong Influencing & networking Skills

- Good Communication skills

- Travel as & when required nationally approximately 40-50% of the time (2- 2.5 weeks in a month)

Qualification: Science degree / Pharmacy Preferably MBA

Experience: Minimum 5 years of Experience in pharma marketing as a Product manager

Reporting: Marketing Head
