SYVO - Senior Manager - Supply Chain

Role Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing supply chain and operations. The role requires strong experience in e-commerce fulfilment, inventory planning, procurement coordination, and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:

- Create and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company growth plans.

- Forecast demand based on sales trends, marketing plans, and seasonality.

- Plan inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking.

- Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiations and performance tracking.

- Oversee procurement planning and timely replenishment.

2. Warehouse & Fulfilment Management:

- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.

- Implement and maintain strong inventory control processes and conduct regular cycle counts.

- Optimize warehouse layout, manpower planning, and productivity.

- Ensure safety standards, infrastructure maintenance, and process compliance.

- Improve order accuracy, reduce processing time, and enhance overall fulfilment efficiency.

3. Logistics & Distribution:

- Handle inbound and outbound logistics with courier partners and 3PL service providers.

- Ensure timely customer deliveries and monitor performance metrics like TAT, delays, and RTO percentage.

- Manage return shipments, reverse logistics, warranty replacements, and quality checks.

- Reduce logistics and shipping costs through process optimization and vendor negotiation.

4. Team Leadership & Reporting:

- Lead and supervise warehouse and supply chain teams.

- Define KPIs such as order fulfilment rate, inventory accuracy, cost per shipment, and turnaround time.

- Generate regular reports for management and provide insights for improvements.

- Train team members on new processes, tools, and operational standards.

- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance speed, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Work with marketing, operations, procurement, product, and customer service teams to align operational plans.

- Coordinate for product launches, stock planning, and promotional campaigns.

- Support customer service in resolving delivery or return-related escalations.

Required Qualifications:

- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in warehousing and supply chain management, preferably in e-commerce.

- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, fulfilment operations, inventory management, and logistics.

- Experience managing 3PLs, courier partners, and multi-SKU categories.

- Ability to use WMS/ERP tools and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high volumes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in electronics or consumer goods category.

- Knowledge of Indian logistics regulations, GST invoicing, packaging norms, and compliance.

- Experience in scaling warehouse operations or setting up new facilities.

- Ability to optimize processes using automation or technology.
