Reporting To: Head of Sales


Job Overview:


We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Team Leader to lead and grow our footprint in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The ideal candidate will have deep relationships within BFSI accounts and a proven track record of consultative selling of IT infrastructure solutions, including data centers, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, managed services and experience in handling team.


Key Responsibilities:


- Leverage strong existing relationships within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector to open doors for IT infrastructure solutions.


- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, and fintech firms.


- Lead and mentor a team of business development executives or managers to achieve sales targets.


- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive team motivation and development.


- Drive consultative selling of IT infrastructure solutions such as data center services, network and security solutions, cloud adoption, and managed services.


- Work closely with presales and technical teams to deliver tailored, value-driven proposals.


- Develop C-level relationships within BFSI clients, ensuring trust and long-term business partnerships.


- Serve as a strategic advisor, understanding client needs and aligning them with relevant IT solutions.


- Build go-to-market strategies targeting the BFSI vertical.


- Forecast sales pipelines, track market trends, and present regular business development reports to senior leadership.


- Oversee end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes, ensuring timely, competitive, and technically sound submissions.


- Work with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align client expectations with solution capabilities.


Preferred Experience:


- 15+ years in IT infrastructure solution sales with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


- Strong BFSI network with proven deal closures in the sector.


- Familiarity with technologies like cloud (AWS, Azure), networking (Cisco, Fortinet), data centres, and cybersecurity.


Educational Qualifications:


- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.


- MBA in Sales/Marketing/IT Management is preferred.
