Come see what we can do together.   For further details pl logon to our website: www.syf.com   Job Title/Role: AVP, Information Security Strategic Initiative Advisor (Grade/Level: 11)  Role Summary/Purpose :  The AVP, Information Security Strategic Initiative Advisor, will drive implementation of information security initiatives and technology solutions in conjunction with Security Architecture to address the current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the organization.  This will include the Security Framework, Baseline Control Framework (NIST 800-53) and Secure SDLC Strategy, ITIL and AGILE/SCRUM and other related architectural frameworks.  Essential Responsibilities :  - Support the business in advising on system security, planning, progress, and risks and ensure Cyber security is incorporated into all aspects of system development and implementation.  - Work with developers, system/network administrators, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks  - Perform other duties of the Information Security department as assigned by management  Qualifications/Requirements :  - Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of IS experience or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED with minimum 5 years IT experience.  - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a technical security architect or related security role in a company where there is a commitment to information security and technology  - Minimum 2 years of experience in technology and information security with related project management or audit experience.  - Minimum 2 years of experience with regulatory compliance management frameworks (e.g., IS027000, ISO22301, PCI DSS, HIPPA, COBIT, NIST 800, ITIL, AGILE/SCRUM)  - Ability to develop technical documentation associated with security architecture. Using methods, models and subsystem structures.  Sound communication skills : Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written work; reads and interprets complex information; conveys information effectively; listens well.  - Able to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner  - Understanding of information processing principles and practices  Strong technological skills : Able to quickly learn and understand technical aspects of the position; embraces technology; appreciates and understands a moderate level of complexity, technology and innovation.   Desired Characteristics:   - Preferred experience and expertise as a TOGAF, SABSA and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) professional would be an added advantage  - Exposure to architectural tools such as, but not limited to, Architect, Power Designer, ArchiMATE, SPARX, Plan View, JIRA etc. would be an added advantage  - Experience with MS Visio, MS Project and Office suite would be an added advantage  Eligibility Requirements :  - You must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent  - Open to work in US shifts from 5/6pm to 2/3am IST or 8-5pm EST timings  - Ability to work as an Individual Contributor and as leader/manager, when required
