Job Title: Lead Finance Specialist

Job description:

Experience: Should be Qualified Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience of 4-6 years in the Software Industry and should have excellent knowledge in Accounting / Book keeping / Audit finalization and good exposure on Company Law matters.

What you'll do:

- Lead Finance Specialist - Should be able to manage the India accounting / Profit & Loss account / Balance Sheet etc.,

- Should be able to prepare and finalize India financials and audit by working with Big-4 audit firm and take the financials for Directors signature.

- Responsible for India month closing and Balance Sheet review.

- Should be able to manage the Company Secretarial work by coordinating with external consultants for India entity and conduct proper board meetings and directors sign off.

- Responsible in handling the India Transfer pricing activities along with consultants.

- Should be able to manage the India Direct & Indirect Taxation independently.

- Responsible as key point of contact for India accounting and handling queries from Group Finance in UK.

- Responsible for India internal financial controls and internal audit.

- Act as a reviewer and approve journals posted by GL team.

- Take up any adhoc projects including process improvement and automation.

Skills Required:

- Thorough & hands-on knowledge and experience in Ind AS.

- Very good experience in India taxation, company law and transfer pricing.

- Preparation and finalization of India financial statements per Ind AS.

- Very good experience in month closing activities including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets capitalization, depreciation run, variance analysis, journal postings, etc.

- Experience in cost plus transfer pricing model is an added advantage.

- Signing off on all the Internal Financial controls for India entity by proper auditing every month.

- Able to meet the month closing deadline and produce the Balance sheet schedules for Directors review every month.

- Familiar with the Lease accounting / Employee benefits like Gratuity / Holiday pay accrual etc.,

- Very good understanding of IFRS Standards and its related accounting treatment including but not limited to lease accounting, employee benefits, etc.

- Familiar with the CSR activities and accounting.

- Experience working in ERP systems preferably Microsoft D365.

- Excellent Communication skills and be a good team player.

- Able to independently work and provide solutions.

- Should have previously managed the audit finalization independently.

- Good knowledge in accounting principles and book keeping.

- Able to manage different stakeholders in and outside of India.

- Good knowledge in process documentation.
