Symed Labs - Purchase Manager - Pharma

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to handle procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and vendor coordination within a pharma manufacturing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage procurement of APIs, excipients, packaging materials, machinery & consumables.

- Identify, evaluate & onboard vendors, CMOs, suppliers, and maintain strong relationships.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and annual contracts.

- Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.

- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, SCM, and R&D for procurement planning.

- Maintain purchase records, vendor audits, and compliance documentation.

- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory updates.

Requirements:

- 3-10 years of pharma procurement experience.

- Strong vendor network in API / RM / PM segments.

- Good negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.

- Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
