Job Title: Strategic Talent Acquisition Manager - VLSI / Semiconductor Industry

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 10 to 15+ years

Type: Full-Time | On-site

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Talent Acquisition Manager with deep expertise in the VLSI/Semiconductor domain to lead our hiring efforts across design, verification, DFT, physical design, and post-silicon teams. This is a critical leadership role responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that align with our aggressive growth plans and business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical skillsets in the semiconductor industry, combined with a proven ability to attract and hire top-tier talent across all levels-from entry to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive hiring strategy to meet current and future talent needs across VLSI functions.

2. Partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR to forecast demand and align recruitment priorities.

3. Build and lead a high-performing TA team to drive full-cycle recruitment across India and global locations.

4. Source and engage top semiconductor talent through direct sourcing, employee referrals, market mapping, and university relations.

5. Implement and optimize talent pipelines for niche roles including RTL design, verification, DFT, analog/mixed-signal, and layout.

6. Drive employer branding initiatives, including participation in industry events, university hiring, and social media campaigns.

7. Utilize data analytics to monitor hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, quality of hire) and drive continuous improvements.

8. Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent intelligence in the semiconductor/VLSI space.

9. Manage external partners such as search firms, recruitment platforms, and strategic alliances.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 10 to 15+ years of experience in technical talent acquisition, with at least 7+ years in the VLSI/Semiconductor industry.

2. Proven success in hiring across ASIC/SoC design, verification, physical design, DFT, CAD, and systems domains.

3. Strong understanding of industry-standard EDA tools, VLSI skillsets, and hiring challenges in the semiconductor space.

4. Experience with modern ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean sourcing, and recruitment automation.

5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

6. Strategic thinker with a data-driven and execution-focused approach to recruiting.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in a fast-paced product or services company in the semiconductor sector.

2. Exposure to global hiring practices (US, Europe, APAC).

Certification in Strategic Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, or related HR programs is a plus.
