Assistant Finance Manager



We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support key functions in financial planning, reporting, analysis, and control.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful financial insights, monitor performance, and assist in decision-making processes that drive business growth.



Roles and Responsibilities



- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.



- Analyze P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet statements to highlight variances and trends.



- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by coordinating with internal teams and compiling data.



- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business planning and review.



- Collaborate with business heads to understand key drivers and support strategic decision-making.



- Monitor KPIs and suggest corrective actions to improve financial efficiency.



- Assist in preparing internal management presentations and reports for senior leadership.



- Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide recommendations.



- Ensure adherence to internal controls and help implement process improvements in financial reporting.



- Support statutory and internal audits by preparing relevant schedules and reconciliations.



- Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to enhance data accuracy and reporting systems.



- Coordinate with external consultants and auditors for financial analysis and documentation.



Skills and Qualifications Required




- 3-6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, analysis, or planning.



- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel; exposure to financial modeling is a plus.



- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.



- Understanding of accounting standards (IND-AS) and financial principles.



- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.



- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.



- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
