Manager - Commercial Finance (Steppingout) Lead the commercial finance function to ensure alignment of Business Goals for the Stepping out Events business. You will also partner with the Business teams, Marketing teams and Strategy teams to ensure goals and objectives are met and support the overall strategic, budget plan and forecasting processes for the events business. Job Description: - Floating Enquiries (RFQ), analysis of received quotation, making Comparative Statement (CS), discussing technical Specification with Business teams. - Commercial negotiation and finalization with Vendors, and preparation of Purchase order (PO) / work order (WO) using ERP software. - Follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries and accounts department for their payments. - Vendor identification / development- alternate suppliers for cost reduction. - Taking up KPIs for cost reduction in the PL as well as drive profitability through timely, accurate and insightful reports on Events level and Overall P&L - Working with a goal oriented approach towards cost reduction for major events. - Benchmarking and implementing industry best practices in terms of contract negotiation, finalization - Create budgets and forecasts with variance analysis for all revenue and cost streams - Maintain relationships with existing partners and vendors - Evaluate current policies followed by the business and implement corrective measures to mitigate financial risks to the business - Setup process for identification and onboarding of new vendors along with the detailed checklist documenting the considerations made for vendor finalization - Assist the business in the decision-making process through compilation of business cases and ad hoc analyses - Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation across projects - Liaise with business teams to drive transformation initiatives and automation that supports the overall business strategy Qualifications: - CA/MBA having industry experience of 6+ years with hands on knowledge of Finance and Accounting, Ind AS, Accounting Principles. - Experience in Business Partnering, preferably in Commercial Finance. - Excellent knowledge of Google Drive, Sheets, Slides, MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, incl. Macros. - Experience and knowledge of financial systems - Strong organizational and operational skills, able to plan effectively and solving problems. - Strong analytical skills and drive for results. - Ability to articulate complex concepts in a straightforward manner. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees. - Ability to cope with high-pressure assignments and used to meeting strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
