General Manager - Copy Mandate 2: Employees will have the freedom to work remotely all through the year. These employees, who form a large majority, will come together in their base location for a week, once every quarter. About the Role: - Develop a strong team of creative writers, ideators and marketing opportunity hunters. Obsess over ensuring on-brand consistent ideation and writing across all brand touch-points including digital, corporate, BTL, ATL, retail and content. Be a true custodian of the Swiggy brand! - A strong bias for action and intent to translate ideas into great execution, is also key for this role. Roles & Responsibilities: - Be the custodian of the creative output. Ensure all marketing executions are consistent, high-quality and on-brand - Understand the business priorities and manage various project priorities - Lead the copy and ideation pool at the in-house creative shop at Swiggy - Manage internal stakeholders across business and strategy - Mentor a world-class team of creative writers and thinkers - Develop compelling advertising communication across scripts for content videos, TVC's etc. - Translate ideas into specific actions across the creative team Qualifications & Experience: - Industry professional with 12-15 years experience working on multiple national brands either on advertising side or client side - Ability to evaluate both copy and art, with a focus on ideation and writing. - Leadership experience managing a team of creative writers - Ability to handle diverse stakeholders and facilitate constructive discussion with candor - Experience working with large ATL campaigns as well as quick but effective and celebrated smaller campaigns - Large body of work across digital, video, outdoors and print etc
