Role Overview:
We are seeking a Gifting and Retail Category Head to lead one of the most critical verticals at CREW. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who lives and breathes curation, latest trends and deep understanding of merchandize and unique product curation across categories 's omeone with deep knowledge of home decor, fashion, electronics and a refined taste in experience curation.
The ideal candidate is obsessed with product trends, operationally strong, customer-obsessed, and excited to scale the vertical with technology at its core.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Category Ownership
- Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of the category
- Define a compelling vision and roadmap to position gifting and retail buying as a flagship offering at CREW.
2. Product Curation
- Curate exceptional product ideas tailored to members? lifestyles and preferences.
- Stay ahead of trends by identifying emerging products, hidden gems, and unique experiences.
3. Operations Management
- Oversee seamless execution of all gifting-related ?missions? and requests.
- Design scalable SOPs for curation, fulfillment, and customer support.
4. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing team of curators, operations personnel, business development teams and customer success managers.
- Instill a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
5. Customer Experience
- Set and uphold world-class service standards.
- Personally ensure quality assurance for high-value or complex requests.
6. Partnerships & Supply
- Develop and manage relationships with key partners?brands (Local and international), and other luxury service providers.
- Negotiate strategic commercial agreements and exclusive benefits for CREW members.
Who You Are:
- An exceptionally well-traveled individual with refined taste and an eye for detail.
- 10-15 years of experience in BPC, fashion, hospitality, consumer tech, luxury lifestyle, or similar categories.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex operations.
- Deeply customer-obsessed, with a passion for personalization and service excellence.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience scaling high-value partnerships.
- Tech-first in mindset, focused on scalable and automated solutions.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Calm, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
