Sustainability Analyst - ESG

About the Role:

- We are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join our ESG and Sustainability Analytics team.

- In this role, you will support research, design, and implementation of analytical methodologies focused on climate risk, environmental sustainability, and energy transition.

- You will collaborate with a global team to deliver cutting-edge insights and support sustainability-focused decision-making.

Key Responsibilities.

- Support research, design, and prototyping of methodologies on climate physical risk, transition risk, nature, and environment topics.

- Enhance and maintain existing methodologies with a focus on automation, efficiency, and quality assurance.

- Work within S&P Global's proprietary data platforms to develop analytical solutions.

- Ensure quality and transparency through the Research Governance framework.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project components effectively.

- Document and communicate analytical insights, results, and technical approaches for diverse audiences.

- Contribute to reports, factsheets, and other sustainability-related publications.

- Provide market feedback to support sustainability product innovation.

Key Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL (Databricks experience is an advantage).

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

- Ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical or environmental modelling techniques.

- Subject Matter Expertise (Preferred).

- Climate or atmospheric science.
