ROLE DESCRIPTION: A Category Management role entails a high level of customer-centricity with strong analytics, deep business understanding and stakeholder management, sharp planning and story-telling coupled with product/tech&nbsp;understanding for enhanced customer experience. Key Responsibilities - Build strong and deep relationships with brands - Partner with brands to build the mutual business together - Build brands on the platform through monetization, offers and new launches - Have in-depth knowledge of competition and vendor and the ability to influence the market - Negotiate margins, terms of trade with a vendor to bring down costs - Co-own P&L and work with brands to improve topline &amp; bottom-line targets - Work with teams to get the best possible selection &amp; sellers onboarded - Drive portfolio management for best offers and discounts for the customers - Strong understanding of inventory planning and inventory health management JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience &amp; Education - Prior experience in Retail partnering with Food &amp; FMCG brands - MBA (Tier 1 Institutes) with effective communication skills - Deep understanding of the Food &amp; FMCG industry and competitive scenario amongst brands - People management experience - A total of 4-6 years of work experience Attitude &amp; Mindset - Strong relationship management &amp; negotiation skills to work with external partners to ink deals - Identifies, builds and uses a wide network of contacts with people at all levels, internally and externally - Hustler attitude to ensure fast and profitable selection ramp-up - Analytical mindset - Metrics-driven mindset with data-backed decision-making attitude - High ethical standards
