Our client a Bulge Bracket Investment Bank is setting up a new team at Bangalore, this team which sits in their Securities division - The Securities divisions helps institutional clients, including fund managers, financial service providers and large corporations, buy and sell financial instruments on exchange around the world. From developing trading strategies to the final clearing and execution of transactions, the teams also provide insights and strategies that help clients achieve their goals. - The new teams will function as the first line of support to the Sales and Traders across the globe. They will liaise and work with the Sales and traders and ensure the workflow down stream and upstream and executed effectively. - Please note that the role is NOT a BACK OFFICE role. We are currently looking at to sub teams : 1.The Cross Product Sales team - this team covers a wide scope of investors across the globe with a concentration in Hedge Funds and Institutions. The team is focused on providing multiple layers of equities coverage to our clients within one delta and derivatives. The profiles offers a wide range of learning opportunities including trade execution, client interaction, operational support, bespoke analysis, and idea generation. This position includes direct interaction with sales, research, and trading. 2. The Electronic Trading Desk - this desk enables clients to execute trades directly through the trading infrastructure (rather than placing an order with a sales trader for execution by a trading desk). The firm also offers a suite of Algorithmic Trading strategies which clients can select to allow the algorithmic trading engine to target a specific execution benchmark on their behalf. The responsibilities ( not just limited to ) are listed below: - Responsible for all overnight trades confirmations and matches - Ensuring client are updated on trades status and receive end of day reporting - Responsible for post trade confirmations - sending confirmations and recaps for clients and brokers - Work on a daily snapshot of any themes playing out on a daily flow basis - Weekly color of trading flows that the desk saw - Liaise with Middle office and local teams for client account openings and onboarding. - Looking for an Analyst level with 1-3.5 years of experience. Would only prefer someone who has worked on the Financial Markets - has worked with Sales and Traders and provided execution services etc. Strong product knowledge of Financial products - Equity Derivatives / Rates / Exotics / FIDs etc,
