Posted 2 weeks ago

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Network Production Planner to optimize production planning across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient capacity utilization, balanced production schedules, and strong alignment between supply and demand to meet service, cost, and inventory objectives.

Using a global digital planning platform (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro), the Supply Network Production Planner will manage the production plan for finished goods across internal manufacturing assets and third-party production locations for an assigned product portfolio.

The role will also continuously monitor the Capacity-to-Demand (C:D) ratio, ensuring medium- to long-term capacity availability, and will play a key role in identifying and resolving production constraints. This requires close collaboration with plant schedulers, supply planning delivery teams, and S&OP stakeholders, supporting the overall capacity modelling process through Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).

This position requires proven experience in supply planning, strong analytical capability within digital planning tools, and the ability to build positive, effective relationships with cross-functional supply chain stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning

- Develop and manage production plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.

- Conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to identify capacity constraints and support monthly supply reviews.

- Collaborate with delivery leads and MPS planners to resolve bottlenecks and optimize production schedules.

-Maintain accurate planning master data-batch sizes, cycle times, calendars, production rates-in accordance with global standards and governance.

2. Inventory & Capacity Management

- Align production schedules with inventory policies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

- Monitor and propose adjustments to production strategies to respond to changing market conditions, demand variability, and supply disruptions.

- Support and align with S&OP and supply planning delivery teams to ensure robust medium- to long-term capacity modelling.

- Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure material readiness and production feasibility, including for new product introductions.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

- Work closely with supply planning delivery leads, MPS planners, procurement teams, and plant operations to ensure production and replenishment strategies align with business objectives (e.g., make-to-order, make-to-stock models).

- Support S&OE and S&OP processes by providing insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations to resolve supply constraints.

- Contribute to improving product availability while maintaining balanced cost and inventory outcomes.
