Our client is a global consulting firm supporting a large-scale SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation for a manufacturing-focused end client operating across Steel, Cement, Chemicals, and Energy sectors.

The Supply Chain Transformation Consultant role sits within a broader enterprise supply chain transformation initiative, aimed at modernising logistics, order fulfilment, and product configuration capabilities. The consultant will play a key role in assessing current-state processes and shaping the S/4HANA target state, helping the client drive efficiency, scalability, and future-ready digital capabilities across its supply chain landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct AS-IS assessments on SAP ECC through structured client workshops and stakeholder discussions.

- Define S/4HANA target-state blueprints for Extended Transportation Management (TM) and Variant Configuration (VC).

- Support the design of end-to-end order fulfilment, logistics, and configuration processes.

- Identify value levers and optimization opportunities across supply chain workstreams.

- Work closely with cross-functional business and IT teams to ensure an integrated SAP design.

- Contribute to AI- and analytics-led initiatives, including logistics optimization, intelligent configuration, and forecasting.

Your Background:

- 8-12+ years of SAP consulting experience.

- Strong functional expertise in Extended Transportation Management (TM) and Variant Configuration (VC).

- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC AS-IS assessments and S/4HANA target-state definition.

- Experience across at least two SAP implementations in manufacturing sectors such as Steel, Cement, Chemicals, Paints, or Energy.

- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.

Other Details:

This is a contractual role with a duration of 5 months. The consultant is expected to work on-site from Mumbai location for the entire duration of the contract.
