Supply Chain Planner

Description:

- Execute material planning for data center supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring requirements are met within defined timelines.

- Manage requests for material reallocation, including network racks, trays, and other components, covering excess, obsolete, or damaged items.

- Participate in move order requests (MOR) for materials control and allocation, collaborating closely with logistics, warehousing, and technical operations teams.

- Maintain a supply outlook by reviewing inventory availability, identifying shortages, and implementing resolution strategies. Minimize excess and obsolete inventory risks.

- Analyze data from materials requirement planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; prepare reports to facilitate decision-making and ensure optimal supply chain execution.

- Collaborate with procurement to monitor inventory levels, track sourcing needs, and ensure timely material availability to meet customer demand.

- Support product discontinuation processes, including identifying items for phase-out, monitoring inventory, and minimizing write-off costs.

- Facilitate weekly operations meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.

- Confirm MRP requirements to provide vendors with accurate short- and long-term material forecasts.

- Manage and optimize planning metrics, tools, and reports to improve supply chain performance.

- Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects aligned with business objectives.

- Assist with testing and implementation of new system tools and process enhancements.

- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned to support operational goals.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and material planning processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret complex data and recommend actionable solutions.

- Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
