Role Overview:

This Supply Chain Manager - Commercial role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from sourcing to delivery, directly impacting the company's ability to meet market demand and achieve sales targets. The incumbent will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, manage demand forecasts, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. This role is based in Delhi NCR and requires a strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to accurately forecast product demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

- Manage the sourcing and procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of raw materials and finished goods.

- Optimize logistics and distribution networks to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery lead times.

- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, presenting actionable insights to senior management.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align supply chain activities with promotional campaigns and new product launches.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels across the supply chain, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain operations.

- Implement and maintain supply chain management systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute demand planning strategies that improve forecast accuracy.

- Proven expertise in sourcing and procurement, including supplier negotiation and contract management.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Deep understanding of logistics and distribution networks, including transportation management and warehousing.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

- Experience in business analysis, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- 10-12 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
