Description:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, production planning, and logistics. This role ensures the timely availability of raw materials, efficient production scheduling, and on-time delivery of finished goods, while optimizing costs and maintaining required quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Source raw materials and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement while meeting quality requirements.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.
- Logistics & Distribution: Oversee transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery to customers and partners.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce supply chain costs without compromising quality or service levels.
- Compliance Management: Ensure supply chain operations adhere to applicable regulatory and quality standards.
- Data & Reporting: Utilize ERP/SCM systems to track performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Risk Management: Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within FMCG, nutrition, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
