Description:



Key Responsibilities:



General:



- Work with supply chain leaders, suppliers, and operations teams to design and implement supply chain plans for new product launches.



- Develop accurate and timely supply chain plans using the UnderstandDesignPlanExecute approach.



- Track key supply chain metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.



- Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers to support growth, cost reduction, and manufacturability.



Understand / Design:



- Analyze cost drivers and create cost-reduction programs for materials and services.



- Develop strategies for supplier engagement (Grow/Maintain/Exit).



- Plan inventory across manufacturing and distribution centers, ensuring supply meets demand.



- Conduct make-or-buy analysis and assess capacity for new materials or processes.



Plan / Execute:



- Establish partnerships with key suppliers for capacity planning and on-time product launches.



- Secure supplier support for innovation and cost optimization.



- Optimize supply and distribution networks for short lead times and efficient delivery.



- Set up alternative sourcing options for high-demand products.



- Resolve supplier delivery and quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.



- Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., conflict minerals, REACH).



- Maintain accurate pricing in ERP systems and deliver savings targets through cost-reduction programs.



Qualifications:



- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, or Business.



- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, materials management, sourcing, or engineering (manufacturing experience preferred).



- Strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills.



- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management and global sourcing.



- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Office.



- Certifications like APICS or CIPS preferred.
