Supply Chain Lead - FMCG

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Supply Chain Lead to own and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned expert in demand and supply planning, sales & operations planning (S&OP), and driving significant cost and performance improvements. This role requires strong strategic leadership to enhance automation, boost operational efficiency, and ensure the seamless execution of all supply chain functions to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Lead and direct all aspects of the supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.

- Strategic Planning & S&OP: Spearhead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align supply chain strategies with business objectives. Develop long-term supply chain roadmaps and performance improvement plans.

- Demand & Supply Forecasting: Develop and manage robust demand forecasting models and supply plans to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.

- Cost & Performance Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the supply chain. Continuously monitor performance against key metrics (KPIs) and drive corrective actions.

- Process & Systems Enhancement: Lead the charge in driving automation and leveraging technology to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and decision-making. Champion the use and optimization of ERP and advanced planning tools.

- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance, to ensure cohesive planning and execution. Manage relationships and performance of key vendors and logistics partners.

- Data-Driven Leadership: Utilize strong data analytics capabilities to generate insights, inform strategic decisions, and solve complex supply chain challenges.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, logistics, or operations, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.

- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of ERP systems and advanced supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).

- Data & Analytical Skills: Strong data analytics capabilities with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau to analyze data and create insightful reports.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with a proven track record of overcoming supply chain challenges.

- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder and vendor relationships.

- Process Improvement Mindset: A strong ability to identify inefficiencies and drive tangible cost performance improvements and system enhancements.
