Description: This role is responsible for ensuring the right supply chain resources are available, capable, and effectively deployed across projects and operations. The position focuses on workforce planning, skill development, compliance, and quality execution of supply chain activities. The role also plays a key part in developing team capabilities and driving operational excellence through strong collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:


Resource & Staffing Management:


- Ensure the right supply chain resources are allocated to projects and operational activities


- Work with project and operations teams to define manpower requirements


- Develop and manage staffing plans to meet current and future workload needs


- Address resource gaps by coordinating with other departments, locations, or external partners


Capability Development:


- Assess project requirements and team skill levels


- Identify training needs and ensure team members receive relevant development opportunities


- Coach and mentor team members and support individual development plans


- Address performance issues proactively and collaborate with HR when required


Execution & Compliance:


- Ensure high-quality delivery of all supply chain activities in line with defined standards


- Enforce procedures related to procurement, logistics, material control, inspection, and expediting


- Implement sourcing strategies, approved vendor lists, and supplier frameworks provided by strategic sourcing teams


- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, quality systems, and applicable international and local regulations


- Participate in early project phases to help define realistic KPIs related to cost, schedule, quality, and quantity


Cross-Functional Collaboration:


- Promote strong collaboration across functions to improve efficiency, cost control, quality, and compliance


- Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes


Education:


Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline


Experience Required:


- 12-18 years of experience in supply chain management within complex project-based or industrial environments


- Strong understanding of global supply chain best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management


- Proven experience leading, training, and developing supply chain teams


- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, supply chain tools, and data analysis for decision-making and process improvement

- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills


- Strong focus on compliance, quality, and process discipline


- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
