Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-performing Supply Chain & Demand Planning Officer to join our FMCG operations in Gurgaon. In this role, you will serve as the backbone of our supply chain ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment between market demand and production capabilities. You will work closely with factory teams, logistics partners, and regional distributors to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment. By leveraging data-driven demand forecasting and rigorous supply chain analytics, you will directly influence our service levels, minimize stock-outs, and drive operational efficiency, ultimately ensuring that our products reach consumers with maximum speed and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute accurate demand forecasting by analyzing historical sales data and market trends to ensure production schedules align with actual consumer consumption.

- Manage end-to-end inventory levels across warehouses to maintain healthy stock cover while minimizing carrying costs and preventing obsolescence.

- Coordinate with factory production teams to prioritize manufacturing runs based on real-time demand signals and supply constraints.

- Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure that distributor requirements are met within agreed-upon lead times, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

- Monitor third-party logistics (TPL) performance to ensure cost-effective and timely distribution of goods across the network.

- Conduct regular demand analysis to identify variances and implement corrective actions that stabilize the supply chain flow.

- Facilitate seamless communication between sales, marketing, and logistics stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to market demand fluctuations.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in demand planning and supply chain operations, with a proven ability to manage complex inventory cycles in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret large datasets, translate them into actionable demand forecasts, and drive data-backed decision-making.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage relationships with distributors and factory stakeholders, ensuring alignment on supply chain priorities.

- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and supply chain software, with a keen eye for process optimization and operational excellence.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Gurgaon, maintaining high levels of coordination across multiple physical touchpoints in the supply chain.

- A graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field, complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving in high-pressure scenarios.
