Our E-Commerce business is a core growth engine, designed around price sensitivity, trust, reliability, and repeat usage, rather than discount-heavy metro playbooks.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Head - E-Commerce to lead and scale SuperK's e-commerce business with a strong focus on Bharat-first execution.
This role owns end-to-end P&L, growth, and execution across markets where supply constraints, logistics friction, and customer trust matter more than polish.
The ideal candidate has built or scaled businesses for value-focused, non-metro users and understands how to drive growth while maintaining sustainable unit economics.
Key Responsibilities
P&L and Unit Economics
- Own the full P&L for the e-commerce business.
- Drive sustainable growth across GMV, contribution margin, repeat rate, and CAC.
- Build cost-efficient models suited for low-AOV, high-frequency users.
Bharat-Focused Growth Strategy
- Define the e-commerce growth strategy for Tier 3/4/5 towns.
- Build scalable playbooks across assortment, pricing, promotions, and logistics.
- Optimize for trust, availability, and reliability, not just speed or discounts.
Customer & Market Understanding
- Develop a deep understanding of small-town consumer behavior - price sensitivity, regional preferences, and trust drivers.
- Ensure product experience and promises are realistic for local conditions.
- Improve repeat and retention through loyalty, subscriptions, and habit loops.
Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Store Operations teams.
- Translate strategy into clear execution plans with measurable outcomes.
- Build and lead a strong, execution-oriented e-commerce team.
Partnerships & Leverage
- Drive partnerships with payments, logistics, and local ecosystem players to reduce CAC and improve reach.
- Explore innovative distribution and acquisition channels relevant to Bharat markets.
What We're Looking For
- 8-15 years of experience in e-commerce / marketplace / value retail businesses.
- Prior experience in Bharat-scale platforms.
- Strong experience owning or driving P&L and unit economics.
- Deep comfort operating in Tier 2+ / Tier 3+ markets.
- Execution-first mindset with strong business judgment.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and build from first principles.
