As a Vertical Lead in Product Management, you are the key figure in driving our vision of creating truly innovative products for a domain. You guide a team of product owners and analysts and leverage your strong industry and domain knowledge to ideate, define and deliver these products. You also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the latest trends and market needs to constantly evolve our products beyond the limits of imagination, either organically or inorganically. You also continuously look-out for new domains within an industry for our product suite.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategize, design, formulate, plan and lead the execution of all the product management related activities for a particular industry
- Lead our product management team to achieve companys strategic technological objectives within specified time, budget and continuously look for ways to reduce development cycle time, effort and cost and also contribute to theR&D in the product engineering team to build increased functionalities needed to cater to the latest industry trends
- Provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the Xelerate product capabilities and continuously look for ways to improve the performance and capabilities of our product
- Define the product roadmap for a particular industry and lead and manage the development and execution of this roadmap to achieve this vision
- Lead new product management development initiatives with the minimum turnaround times while maintaining a continuous focus on innovation
- Continuously monitor the industry ecosystem and look for areas for our products to grow organically (through internal development) or inorganically (through partnerships and acquisitions)
- Continuously look to expand the capabilities of our product by working along with the business alliance team to build a strong product partner ecosystem
- Assess technological and industry trends as well as trends in emerging technologies and continuously build the same into SunTecs product over a specified timeframe
- Focus on co-innovation with our clients through innovation projects co-innovation labs
- Continuously communicate SunTecs product strategy for an industry to all relevant stakeholders
- Focus on ensuring the highest quality of deliverables and continuously review the core technology and codebase of our product to ensure defect free, on-time releases
- Drive the user group initiative along with the client facing teams
- Advise our clients, as required, on all aspects related to our product and technology
- Lead the liaison with external agencies and individuals such as analysts and industry experts to position our products
- Conduct regular reviews and RCAs to continuously improve the development process
- Work along with the client facing teams to understand the overall market requirements and incorporate the same in the product roadmap as required
- Work with internal teams and contribute towards overall product development by providing inputs from the client engagement process
- Contribute by providing contents to our learning and knowledge management initiatives
- Contribute as a thought leader and technology evangelist & represent us in events as an ambassador for our products
- Mentor & coach the entire product management team and help them grow personally and professionally
- Contribute in providing inputs that innovate and improve our engineering and product management process

- Experience working with developing strategy, business plans, building executive relationships and influencing cross functional stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills and excellent leadership skills
- Excellent understanding of the start-up ecosystem in India and across the world, especially related to the industries and domains we operate in

- Very good understanding of web-services, XMLs and development with third party components
- Very good understanding of latest technology infrastructure & deployment management
- Very good understanding of software testing (manual testing, performance testing, automation and automation scripting)
